Fujirian's so long

This is a mix from a good friend of mine named Jeffy Fujita, but most of you know him as one half of Long Beach's dynamic house duo Fujirian. A few days ago my buddy left for basic training so that he could better himself and his country. The duo will continue to produce music but chances are that it will be sometime before any of us get to see them live again. It's a calm and cool type of day and I find myself lost in thought with Amptek's brand of drum n' bass serving as the soundtrack.

This native of Buena Park CA has been making music in some form or another for well over 10 years and it shines through in his chilled out brand of drum n' bass.
Today I am posting up his remix of Seba's "Painted Sky" This track is definately a kick back tune worth listening to. The synth line in the breakdown is as haunting as it is ethereal and I am sure that you will enjoy listening to it as much as I do.

Music Moves has the exclusive preview and I've got to say that the whole song could go one of two ways. It's either going to be great or it's going to fail.
Given Moontouch's progression and skill I would say that the prior of the two choices is most likely true but do not quote me.

Well it seems as if another mix has surfaced to celebrate the coming of spring. Today's mix comes to us from OC drumstep staples Dirty Deeds.
This mix was put out by club Merge which is a local dubstep/drum n' bass club located at Tiajuana's restaurant in Irvine CA.

Fujirian's March Madness

It has already been a month or so since funky house duo Fujirian released their latest single "I.S.E."

The Deep Jazzy Beats of Johnny Muse

So over the last few weeks I have been on this jazz/techno/deep/mnml tangent. I've been finding new artists, new songs, old artists with new songs, new artists remixxing old songs as well as anyone and everything inbetween.

I came across this uber jazzy track while scouring the net for some fresh thought inducing beats and I do have to say that this track is both fresh and thought inducing.
This track has sexy sax samples, four to the floor beats, and a bass groove that does just that, it GROOVES.

Johnny Muse comes to us from Poland and believe it or not this kid is only 18 years old. His production skill and knack for groovy beats make him one of my newest artists to look out for and I for one can't wait to hear more from the mind of this kid.

This kid is intelligent and very talented and if this is any indicator of what's to come than I think we should all start paying attention right now.
